I used Metris - but I just figured out that its also possible in 3ds - and this is not as expensive and cryptic. The problem is to identify the anthropologically correct landmarks for measuring on the mesh. I wrote an Excell spreadsheet which lets you generate all measures with a given body height. I think its also possible to do this with proportions. Jut measure them once scaled, then calculate the dial settings in a spreadsheet. This is quite usefull for real life demos where you have given measures,
Intresting! For us non metric types, Normal V3 is a perfect 38-27-36, and wears a 36FF bra (she could probably fit into a 36F). She weighs in at 151 lbs. V3 "Pinup's" measurements are 41-25-40, she wears a 36J bra (which doesn't actually exist in this world, I assume, but I projected up from existing AA,A,,B,C,D,DD,F,FF cup sizes to H,HH,J,JJ,L,LL. Breast Size 8 puts her into a 36LL Bra. ;-) "Heavy" puts her up to 280 lbs. I'd like to see these measurements taken on one of my Supermodels, or Glamorous Vicky.
Are you sure that is correct? I play around with the measurements and here is what I got in US standard measure: She is 5 feet 10.5 inches tall she weighs 151 lbs Bust 37 Waist 27 Hips 36 Making her about a dress size 8 (amazing what you can find on the internet) But where the problem comes in... with a band measure like that she would be a G or DDD cup! Or did I mess this up completely?
I get exactly 37.6 Bust, 26.6 Waist, 36.6 Hips for default V3, I rounded 'em off. I did screw up all the bra sizes, though, which is pretty easy to do as they are done by a strange method, sort of Inverse Playboy Notation (IPN), actual sizes are: Default V3- 36B Pinup - 36DD Size 8 - 36FF (or 36DDDD) Voluptious- 36 J (or 36 DDDDDDD, 3 sizes larger than FF)
Inverse playboy Notation? Please explain this one! I just figured the differance from the under-breast to the breast and got huge numbers too... can I ask what you did different to get those more reasonable numbers? Oh and BTW 36J bras do exisit, all you have to do check google and you will see what they look like :)
IPN = something I just made up. ;-) Bra size is supposed to be figured from the difference between "Frame Size" and bust size. Frame size is the under-breast measurment, if an odd number, plus 5", if the under-breast measurment is an even number then plus 6", the result is allways an even number. No, I don't know why they do it that way! So the default V3 has a 36" frame size, a 38" breast size, and a 2" difference, thus a 36B bra.
OK ok.... Now I am trying to figure out what each click of the dail does. So, a normal v3 is 151lbs/68.8 kilos this is "heavy" at zero We know that Heavy at 1 gives us 280lbs/127 kilos So, I have two points...I should be able to figure this out, but I need one more tidbit: If I double "heavy" Is she now 409lbs (the differance between 0 and 1 added in) Or is it double the value of first. Once I get this I can figure out what each click of the dial gives (by click I mean 10ths) and eventually we can do the dial a figure I was talking about.... anyone have any ideas?
Thanks, praxis22! Sumpermodel Vickie was supposed to be 36C-23-35, 5'11 tall and 115 lb, Glamorous Vickie is similar, only not quite as slender, more Pin-up than Supermodel. GV is about 3/4" taller than V3 I do know, all in her shins. I don't know how much the dials would change her, but I guess "Heavy" x 2 would be more than the difference X 2- the mesh will move exactly twice as far but she would not only be twice as "more-thick", she would also be twice as "more-wide", the difference could be as much as 4X
