Subject: Help... Texture Problems

I dont know how to set the material properties to show the textures. Each time it still looks the same. How should it be configured??

Are you setting the display to fully shaded textures, or are you using one of the flat shaded textures? Or do you mean you are having problems actually changing the materials/texture maps on a figure? Paul

Be more specific please, this could mean a number of things. Do you realize that on some/most things in poser you can select different parts to texture?? When you go to render you character or object it is usually on some default setting, see what this is and then adjust accordingly. Also, check to see if the transparency settings are set differently for this can make a big difference as well. Also, see if what you have selected is actually the item you are trying to render/texture?? Sometimes, with intricate materials it can be hard to determine what we have selected and what we have our settings on.

I think I know what he means : set all default color of the figure to white and Highlite to black. Then apply the texture and see the difference. Hope that solves your problem. Regards Chris

Also, your textures don't show up fully until you actually render the scene. Melanie
