Okay I finally have some time on my hands to challenge someone. It's an open challenge so anyone can jump in. My challenge is to create any movie villian you want and use him/her/it in a scene. The character can be made in any proggie but must be made by you and rendered in Bryce. I suck at Poser so I will model my villian from scratch in Rhino. The character doesn't have to be the main villian either , just a bonified bad guy. This might take me about a month to submit , due to personal scheduling , but it will get done. Sound good? Or has this challenge been offered before. Either way I can't wait to see what we get. Cheers to all and good luck!

Also I noticed there are alot of challenge players in the arena but it seems that the same old folks are playing over and over again. What happened to the rest of you?! Join in , it's my first time too you know , and let my baddie beat your baddie! And if you think your skills aren't upto par don't worry because this forum was made to make you better at whatever you're using. There's no rating here so don't worry about low scores , it's what you learn that's the challenge.

DO you mean a movie-style villain, or a villain from an actual movie? I mean, do you want to see images of Robert Durant (from Darkman) or Catwoman or the witch from Snow White, or even Snidely Whiplash (or maybe someone "minor" like the pickpocket from Casablanca who actually winds up instrumental to the plot), or do you just an evil type character?

Hmm. I wish I were a better modeller; I could use this as an "excuse" to create Bela Lugosi's Dracula and enter it both here and in the Flat Earth contest at 3D Comics Collective... ;-)

I want a villian that is in an actual Movie. So if you choose "Legend" then you could make a scene with the Devil's son or the Bog Witch or even one of the Evil Goblins. As long as they're proven baddies then your entry will be valid.

Yeah as long as the character was made by you. I know that most people must use these default characters to start from so that's cool. I don't know of anyone really who models Poser bipeds from scratch. Make sure you don't just put a hat and jacket on a defaulter and enter that , I trust everyone will be creative. Personally I stink at Poser so I must model my character in Rhino3D from the ground up.

I suck at Poser also, I usually use it to pose and modify charecters and import into Bryce, I rarely ever render anything in Poser other than test renders, I'm sure Jahffar would need alot of morphing, so this is a good challenge for me to explore Poser further. Thanks Hawkfyr, I've only been doing this since February, but I'm addicted, and was looking for a good challenge. I dont want to say who my villan is, but I've got a great start on it, and I'm sure you all will get a kick out of it. Looking forward to many challenges in the future. J.
