The problem is I bought my V2-V3 Texture Convertor here at the MP and it is no longer sold here. Anyone know if Daz will open the upgrade offer to those that bought at the MP? Regards STORM

Have you emailed Dark Whisper and asked? I'd be interested too.....in fact, now that I think about it, I haven't gotten an email with any upgrade info....I had no idea it was available at DAZ.

I think if you go to his homesite you will find updates for his products there.

Gees 12 whole days to rush out and update. That might have been a fair amount of time if people were kept updated on the progress of the comverter and what all the new tools are and do. What is the upgrade cost anyways ?? Doesnt say at Daz or i missed i.

Turtle, Universal Texture Convertor is a brand new product, from what I understand, which will eventually (with plug-ins) allow conversion between most Poser figures textures.
Daz appear to be offering customers who bought Dark Whisper's V2-V3 Texture Convertor from them a reduced cost upgrade to the Universal Texture Convertor.
Perhaps my question was too quick off the mark and Dark Whisper has not yet been able to arrange for others to purchase the upgrade.
It would of course be simplest and good business if Daz allowed non-Daz purchasers of the V2-V3 Texture Convertor to upgrade from them.
Perhaps they will.
Dark Whispers V2-V3 Texture Convertor is a fantastic utility for all Poser users and I have the highest of respect for it and its creator.

Dave, This upgrade sets the foundation for taking the extra character plug-in modules. Plug-ins for other characters will be made available over time. cheers, Steve

the figures are plugins, and on his website ,dw announces other figures for the future.

Will the plug-ins be free, or will they be sold on Daz as well?

Not only did I get the e-mail for the texture converter update, but I also found not 1 but 2 offers from the ever reliable hotmail accounts to permanently stop aging! Woo Hoo! Now I can convert textures until the end of time. ;-) Thanks, DW - for the texture converter update, that is! ;-)

Wow, my email is full of great information today. Reality... they do that to avoid spam blockers. The internet secretly knows I like women, need to boost my sex drive, need viagra, need sinus relief, need to enlarge my breasts, need to lose weight, need to find a boyfriend in my area AND that I like h0rse s3x. (Ugh.) I'm so glad I never use my hotmail account and my yahoo account filters things so well. The updated program is great!
