Long hair, of course, will continue to move after a character stops. It's best to give it a few animation frames in which to do so, if you're making a clip. This is because, in real life, hair is affected by air resistance and its own inertia. Are you saying it keeps moving forever? I only do stills usually, so it's not that big an issue....
It is supposed to eventually settle down but it keeps moving as if it where alive or was Medusa's hair after the character has stopped moving and I am giving it enough time for the hair to stop, it just never stops moving. Again, there might be something I need to set up, so if somebody knows please let me know what it is. Wish I could post an animation of it.

Is it my imagination or dynamic hair seems to work better after SR 3? One thing though the hair doesn't seem to settle down once the character has stopped moving. It keeps moving. I don't want to say that this is still a bug cause it could be my settings. Anybody has an optimum setting to use with dynamic hair so it can settle down once the character stops moving?
