It may not be unnecessary eating and sleeping that's the problem JJE. I haven't even STARTED on my three comic book ideas due to lack of storage space... :-)

CB up until a week ago the entire of HCK (including all the files that makes the files that make the files etc) was living on one 12GB drive that was also being used for everything else I do. It was over a GB and I was convinced it was just a matter of time before my hadr drive went "TANGO-UMBRELLA" and lost everything. I finally saved myself with the purchase of a $300 Firewire RW-CD. I've been a burning fool ever since. I stil have to get all my poser files off of about 20 Zips though....heh so...no'scuses :-) jje

LOL! We have a SuperDisk drive (temperamental as all get out) that REFUSES to work on my PC, and a CD-RW on one of the networked PCs, but it's such a pain to work on one PC and save on another that I haven't been doing much at all, to be honest... But still... ;-)

Sacred Truth right now is just about 1 Gig. I guess eventually I'm going to want to put that somewhere (like maybe burn a cd, I suppose)

And you don't wake up in a cold sweat, Tim? Look at it this way. You are the only one with the (I assume) higher resolution copies of the images. If you croak how do you expect your family to publish posthumously, make a million dollars, and get you the credit you didn't get in your lifetime? :-) ...and since no one asked...yes Firewire seems to be behaving as advertised. The only thing the drive will not do is pump audio thru my speaker system. And, of course, the bondy blue case looks sooo cool sitting atop the G3...heh I know a lot of people in the industry, working on a lot of diferent platforms and I'm the only one to have taken the Firewire plunge. Talk about cold sweats. jje
