Can someone please help me??? I've been trying to apply a texture and a transparency map in Poser 5 and I can't do it, please help me, thanks.

I thought this was supposed to be a forum where artists who were having problems could get help, but i guess i was wrong, after some time i finally got it, so to all who read this and ignored it, THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well jeff some of us read it and do not have P5 so we couldnt help you. Also next time add the problum to the subject line and you should get more help that way.

if you give me a minute i will post a screenshot of what to do...sorry no one got back to you, it is frustrating sometimes when you dont get the answers you want. however i will do my best to help.

1. go to the material room 2. apply the texture to the diffuse color and specular color. make sure the diffuse is set to white and specular black. ( you can change these for different effects but the default is black and white) to create the node click on the ball shaped thing next and choose create new node --> 2d textures --> image map choose your file and make sure the lines are connecting the two like in the picture. 3. do the same for transparancy but connect the nodes to the transparancy and transparancy edge lines. Make sure texture strength is set to 1!
