forgive me for being dense, but what's the uncontrollable force? regardless, it's an interesting image, and I really like the color palette. You might consider making a glowing halo around the lightning so it looks like it's glowing

haloedrain ( ) posted Mon, 19 May 2003 at 1:48 AM

hmm, not only am I dense, I'm redundant

kool lightning effect. I would take haloedrain's idea of the glowing lightning effect and in turn, tone down the photoshop lens flares. Sorry, theres just too many of them and they are all appear to be the same settings, which draws your eyes away from anything else in the image.

GOT IT! the uncontrollable force is electricity right? because it came from a man made source, cant be lightning... hope i got it right! great image!

tjohn ( ) posted Mon, 19 May 2003 at 4:58 AM

I think EYECON is right, it looks like electricity to me. And since you have Photoshop, try the "diffuse glow" filter on the lightning. Great design!

please check your Caps Lock key :) I also think the lightning effect needs a glow. You can just add a new post with the new entry and add something like 'repost' to the subject if you want to upload an improved version.

Interesting. It appears you have a Tesla complex. LOL 8^) I would love to have a coil that throws sparks across the street and causes neighborhood lights to dim for a ten mile radius. Muhaaaaahahahahaha! groingrinder slinks back to the laboratory
