FairyRaptor - 3 pts - for the unusual fish eye's view hauksdottir = 2 pts - because I know what that feels like coa = 1 pts - for capturing the beautiful Zen of a cat My honorable mentions go to Daio and neftis for their amazing cats, and to ellemat for sharing Muffy. But you all deserve applause for the wonderful creations that clearly came from the heart. Loved this challenge!

sandoppe - 3 points FairyRaptor - 2 points neftis - 1 point Guess it would be poor form to vote for myself. Besides, FairyRaptor pulls off the reflections and water effect better. sandoppe- the color and composition reminds me of a poster I used to have by a fantasy artist who's name I can't remember. Excellent layout. neftis- Is "Messy Team" anything like the "Dirty Pair" (Apologies to non-anime buffs who don't get the reference.) Funny stuff- I wrote a short story once where something rather similiar happened. To everyone- great work! I only hope to make my next contest entry as good as some of these.

3 pts FairyRaptor 2 pts Hauksdottir 1 pt Daio And runner up Coa. I messed up this time, have my entry all ready, just needed some fur brushing, and then got tied up with some serious work, logged on this morning and found I had missed the deadline. The Bryce Challenge goes on till the end of the month, so how come this one cuts out just over half way through?

Never saw so much pure love on one internet page before! It was so hard to pick favorites when most of the images had such emotional punch to them :( After going back and forth about 40 times: wrpspeed - 3 hauksdottir - 2 beachadonis - 1 PS I was going to submit an image, too (not sure if the picker of the theme should do that, actually) but hauksdottir's is SO similar to my idea that I decided it could practically stand in for it! My black kitty in the stars was named Pyewackett and was my faithful familiar for nearly as many years as Tabitha and hauksdottir were together ;)

BonBonish ( ) posted Wed, 21 May 2003 at 3:48 PM

neftis -3 (I like family affairs;)) wrpspeed-2 (I like very much thinking cats) phesix - 1 points (interesting point of view) PS. To my great sorrow something went wrong with my uploading process :(, but I am happy to see that nobody dealt with my theme. I rendered my dog Daisy, while she is reading one of my works, and she enjoys it very much :). Anyway, I learned a lot from that challenge. Now I am using the cameras much more freely then before. Thanks!

Phesix ( ) posted Thu, 22 May 2003 at 2:33 AM

coa -3 (This is cute, Looks like he is tying to hide) Neftis -2 (My cat would jump on the chicken too, if I let him) Daio -1 (This is quite life like, Nice looking Fur) PS. I would vote myself first, but hey why do that when there are so many good renderings! Excellent work every one! I also had a soft spot for aaronc's Tadpole, (it looks so lonely). I too pushed myself to use the camera FOV, in dramatic ways! I feel I learnt quite a bit from this challenge!! PSS Thanks to thoses who voted for my Image. :)
