This pics pop up in their own window. Hope you own the originals and aren't just re-selling them. Marque http://fineart.sk/Unless I'm missing a whole section, I don't see her there. The backgrounds on the ones I am seeing aren't even the same, nor do I see a model with those shoes. Can you give us a page number and section or a direct link to where you thought you saw them? Did you contact levius or the store? Maybe you should have done that first. Just a suggestion. :)
Yup, thinking about joining myself. Those pics are in the popup window. If you click on samples I think they come up. Like I said if I'm wrong great, and this person gets advertising for their product. 8^) If I'm not, well there it is. And yes, I did contact the store. And the pic above is from the site, not the store here. Marque
I've bought Levius' reference photo packs from the store, and today he sent out a Renderosity merchant email inviting his past customers to check out his new site. The URL he gave is the same as the one Marque posted. He is probably selling the photo pack in the MP here and also marketing it through his own website, like a lot of the merchants do. It's a really terrific site, too; he has a lot of cool freebies on offer.
Fauve is right, it's his own site. :) Very good stuff and the rest of the site has some great resources for all sorts of artists. SnowS

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.
I usually delete the marketing emails too, but I saw that this one was from Levius, so I read it. I'm a reference photo junkie -- couldn't get along without them -- and his material is great; what he has in the Marketplace is excellent "everyday people" stuff, with a lot of variety of types and ages.
I am so tempted to get a membership to his site, but I've had some less-than-positive experiences with CCBill (though to be fair, I hear they've cleaned up their act.) After looking at the low-res previews, though, I may just have to cross my fingers and chance it. It's so hard to find good-quality figure references online. (And no, porn doesn't count. :) )
That appears to be the merchants home site. The E-Mail addresses registered at Renderosity and that site match. I will notify the merchant of this thread so that he can clarify. BTW - The sets he sells are very hgh quality. Clint MarketPlace Manager

Okay, I've signed up, and now that I've browsed around the member area, I can give you an opinion. If you use reference photos for your Poser images (and it makes a really big difference in the quality, in my opinion) it's going to be worth it to you. I use ref material a lot, so this was a good buy for me. Take a look at the sets of ref photos Levius has for sale in the marketplace and you'll get an idea of what's on offer in the site, though there are other sets on the site that aren't for sale here, like the medieval clothes reference set and the facial expressions ref set (I love that one.) If the sample images look like something which would be useful for your own artwork, then yes, the ten dollars a month is definitely going to be well-spent. If you think you might not use them that often, it may be a better idea to just pick up a set or two of the photo packs he has in the MP. Either way, he's offering good value for the money.
I have bought the female heads pack and the nude female pack, and the quality is pretty good. I have created a (IMO) very good head tex from the heads pack, and I'll be working on a new female body tex soon. I'd say they are a very good resource for anyone wishing to create photoreal textures without copyright hassles. Put it this way - for $5, you just can't go wrong.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
I joined up too. For the money, even if you only want a few of them, it seems well worth it. I bought the female head pack here, and had the body on my wishlist till I found the site. I you are actually going to need reference photos, I would say sign-up. It's only $10 dollars for a month, anyway, which is the price of two packs here. And even one pack is worth more than that. :D
I do have to agree with you illusions. This example highlights why. levius was completely innocent, but he hasn't been on r'osity yet since it came up (I pm'd him to let him know what was being said when I saw the thread), so he couldn't have defended himself. Luckily, someone knew what was going on. But what if no-one knew so quickly. This could have went on, people could have seen the beginning, but never caught the resolution at the end, and his rep would still be tarnished in some eyes.
yes its his site and i'v talked to him he is a very sweet guy and has very good stuff on that site i would say yes join it
