Keep in mind that this only blocks banners from displaying on your computer and does not affect the site itself nor any other computer.
Go get a program called "AdSubtract" and install it. Read the readme file to learn how to block website annoyances. Also read how to turn AdSubtract off or selectively block things on certain sites. Here's how to configure it:
To turn AdSubtract off, click (once) on its yellow icon in the system tray.
This should make viewing this site much more "work-friendly".
Also remember that "Alt-Tab" is your friend, especially at work. Keep two fingers above those keys at all times. When you hear a co-worker approaching, "Alt-Tab" to another open program and they don't even see Renderosity. Try to have a number of applications open so your Windows taskbar looks like a bunch of icons with no names. That way, the people can't evn tell which website you're on.
Oh, you should be lucky if they just ask you if you're gay (although I do not really understand why someone would think something like that) .. over here you would have already lost your job if someone would've caught you surfing while you're at work.

Everyone's work conditions are different. I visit R'osity at work but I'm the boss. I also don't mind my employee surfing at work. What I would mind is if they were to surf sites that had questionable content as the computer screen is visible to customers. This is why I sometimes turn on the "no nudity" option.
So in a business environment, it's not likely that the people Czarinaqueen may work with that "have the problem", it's likely the fact that there are somethings that aren't acceptible in certain situations. I wish more people would acknowledge that fact rather than assuming people are prudes.

Well Kendra it is probably very likely true what you have said....and maybe she should not surf Renderosity until she gets home. However that does not change my opinion that people who question others sexuality, especially in the workplace, do indeed have a problem. What kind of a question is that to ask someone? My 2

Sexuality questions are no one's business but I could see, in a workplace environment, if someone is admonished for surfing sites with half naked women, etc, why others might consider the question. Unfair as it may be. Unfortunately that's part of human nature.
And some things (areas of this site, etc) should be left for home when no one is around to have to explain them to.
Really, with the exception of a few banners that people might question, by turning off the nudity you really only have to avoid the galleries if you're in a place you shouldn't be viewing nudity. The merchants are pretty good about checking the nudity flag but it's often not done in the galleries.

The pople I work with has asked me if I am gay...I can say that I am not. Im a girl...and yes I often spend a lot of time at renderosity.com and well there is a lot of nudeti...most of is ou can switch of in the profile pages...buy...a woman wearing underwhere is sometimes worse then her beeing just naked! I expecially don't like the top banners that sometimes show some very sexy girls...not that I mind personally...I just hate the fackt that it could actually make people think that I was gay! Some rouls about banners is maybe in order...I don't know....
