I was wondering if someone could please send me simple easy to follow 1,2,3 instructions on how to install down loads into Poser 4. I was give the following URL
http://209.92.41.204/Poser/dlframe.html and found some pretty nice things I would like to use. For some reason they show up in my female clothing tool bar after unzipping them to poser, but when I click on them I get a message saying the files can not be loaded for use.
I you can help me with this please send e-mail with instructions to the following address
Steel_eyes101@yahoo.com
Thanks much

Well if you use winzip just take a look at the files. I downloaded the Parchment on that site and it has a pp2 and a rsr file. These uselly go in the libraries file. If you look (in the extractoin page in winzip ) you'll see this : Name | Modified | size |.... | and then Path (Name of files) The path will show you where to place the file's for the tool or utility to work. That is about the best way i can explain it to you. I hope it help's though. Happy rendering ! ~Gothic-Ice

Actually Ghastly has recently encoded some of his files with objaction Mover or PCF Encoder ( can't remember which) so that may very well be the reason why they look like they install but still are useless. Look for a readme, I'm sure he explains how/what to do. And if not there's a lot of people here who will. :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

steeleyes here is the mystrious missing in action DR Geeps visual chart for poser placement. Best way to install stuff into poser is to make a dummy folder and unzipp stuff into it. This will leave you with something like this Runtime Geometries Libraries / character /face/hair/light/pose/Props Textures Then all you have to do is drag whats in theses files , into the Metacreations files. I like it this way because i can rename stuff or fix it before it goes into my poser folder.Like your possible PCF . its hard as heck to find stuff once its in poser after you have been doing this for a while.
