Subject: Poser 5 Demo?

Is there a demo for Poser 5, it's just that I have used poser 4 since it came out and remember it wasn't all that stable to start with. I don't want to get 5 unless I try it first.

Oh comeon guys. There was a Poser 4 demo! It didn't keep folks from buying "the real thing."

They would probably sell more if people could test it first. It's a graphic app, so will it work on my system, with my OS, my graphics cards, any glitches I should know about etc, etc....how easy is it to use compared to 4 etc, etc... Don't answer these questions, these are the things I would want to see for myself, but, as I already said, since I can't evaluate the program, I won't buy it.

I have actually gone out and BOUGHT a program because of the DEMO! In fact, one of the first was Bryce 4, during the old Metacreations days. There are several others. I have not bought Poser 5 because they have no demo to test on my system. I am a little behind current tech, because I got my PC 3 years ago and will need to upgrade or buy a new one to keep up. Right now that's not feasible. Because of this, I just can't use some programs. That's why a demo is so important. Unfortunately,I don't even have a system I can use for some current programs, at all, like Maya. I'd love to make use of the PLE they're offering, but my systems not able to handle it.
