Subject: Full screen mode question

I've been using Photoshop since the dawn of time and consider myself pretty proficient with it BUT have always wondered one thing, can you change the background color when in "full screen mode with menu bar" mode. It's gray but I would like it to be black like when you are in "full screen mode" Maybe it's a silly question but I thought I would ask anyway. TIA dano

Hi dano, welcome to the forum.

Yep, there is a way.

Set your foreground color as you please (in this case, black), select the paint bucket tool (g), and "shift"-click on your background. Your color change should take place. This won't work if you try it before you switch to "full screen mode" (f). For the MAC users, i understand you can change the "application" background (turn on or off) but not us PC users...

Thank You for the encouragement. Thats what I like about Renderosity most. Even though many of the people here are very well established as artists, few are so stuck on themselves as to assist others in need.

I have heard retrocity, who is the moderator in this forum state, "The difference between an Expert and a Beginner is 6 months". I think that type of mentality is very helpful when someone is concerned with posting a message they might feel is to simple or stupid.

I have found a lot of help here.
