Hi Starlok, Are you using windows and Internet Explorer? When Downloading it should come up and ask you if you want to Save or Open the file. Anyway - Let me know what you are running on and using to download with and we can go from there. Thanks, Clint

Actually, I just went to XP and use both AOL's Browser AND IExplorer. It doesn't ask me anything. The status bar at the bottom of the Explorer Window just says Downloading HTTP://...etc...etc. As soon as I click anything else off the window, the message goes away and I'm stuck just waiting for the Windows Explorer window to open at the end of the DL process so I can manipulate the ZIP File.
Try this with IE: Open Windows Explorer and Select Tools. In the Tools window select the File Types tab. Locate the "ZIP" extension and highlight it. Then select Advanced. Actions should be set to "Open". Confirm After Download should be checked. Doing this should now cause IE to Open a window when you click Download asking if you want to Save or Open the file. If you select Save you will get a Save As window that will allow you to specify the file name of the download as well as the location to save the file to on your hard drive. Once the Save As location is confirmed a window showing the Dl progress should open up. Let me know. Clint

Okay, I did that, I just didn't think it was a personal setting because Other sites just went directly to the save as dialog when I right click on it. It doesn't accept a Right-Click on the download button on the My Purchases page. This should do the trick. I'll try it on my next purchase. Thanks for the quick response! Starlok

Hi, All!
Would it be possible to allow the "Save Target As" option for purchased Downloads? Between not seeing ANYTHING occurring when I press Download to tell me that it's working (beyond the initioal message down at the bottom of the window) I really prefer to:
and 3) I really love to watch the papers flying from folder icon to folder icon. It's almost as much fun as going to the laundromat and watching the cloths spinning around and around in the clothes dryers!

Sorry, it's been a LOOONG day! ;)
