Hi I just ordered off the new website- there is no way to select Mac file for download-I tried BOTH Netscape7 and IE 5.02-so I just happily supposed it would show up at download- NOPE! I've got LOVELY exe files I can't use-and DAZ is closed till Monday. I'm sure they will correct the glitch but for now I am stuck! Eric Walters

I'm sure this isn't gonna help, but Monday is a holiday (Memorial Day). Guess this is all part of the "upgrade for a better tomorrow" plan. I hope you get it all sorted out in short order :-) /gz

Thanks Fret, I have 3 good days to create some scenes with some purchased products-all I need to do is buy a PC and Poser 5! OR wait until Tuesday- sigh.... Eric

Dratted self-extracting files. If they were plain zips you could open and convert them with MartinC's tools. The DAZ folk usually go home on weekends (and I wish that more companies actually thought about employee life-balances), however, with all the web switch glitches, there are probably a couple of techs still there and maybe even a person reading their email. With luck, somebody can help you before Tuesday. Carolly

Look in your Daz Order Confirmation e-mail. For each one product ordered there should be 2 download links. The first link is the .exe file, the second is the .sit file. At least thats what I got.

I found both EXE and SIT links on my account page immediately after completing the transaction. I've noticed changes are still happening on the site tonight. Couple of Plat Club items appeared a bit ago while I was shopping that hadn't been there 20 minutes before. The clothing updates mentioned with the links at the bottom of the Anna-Marie Goddard page don't seem to have been put up yet, but I'll check back Monday or Tuesday, and I figure it'll be straightened out by then. I hope they're going to tweak the downloads a bit more - I notice I can't start one if another is still downloading (I'm on DSL, I like to start six or ten at once, and come back to the computer later when they've finished), and the download dialogs no longer show total size of download, or percentage done - just total K downloaded. Hard to tell if a d/l is done or aborted prematurely this way. Still hoping for a "Printer-Friendly" option on the DAZ store pages, too.

Thanks everyone! I found links ending with ".php" in IE-when I clicked it tried to save as FILE.Php (exe)-cutting and pasting INTO Netscape 7 and choosing- SAVE UNKNOWN FILE-either gave exe or sit. So now I am "sitting" happier. Thanks@ Eric

I did a test run yesterday ecause I wasn't sure but it was there at the end of the process with both an exe and a sit. It started to download the php but then actually fixed itself unlike the old store .. That was in IE 5 ... Was actually glad I didn't have to go to netscape to download :)

When you buy something, there should be a download link for any and all available files in your confirmation email and they should show up in your account. Also -- that netscape 7 file name issue is a bug. Both Mozilla and IE (6, at least), obey the Filename=XXX header, but netscape always wants to attach the extension to the end, so you end up downloading somefile.sit.php.
