I want to use a military character, some cool looking guy w/ a gun. Would be best if it is in cr2 format. If anyone knows where to get anything like this, post the URL in the reply. Thanx Capn Crunch

The day will come when trying to look cool with a gun will be like trying to look cool with a cigarette. =) That said, and without any specific suggestion, the request is sort of general. Historical or sci-fi? What era? Which side? Dress or fatigues? Would you be the Capn Crunch? Just wondering. I'll bet you could find something via http://www.gwz.org/propsguild/links/index.html

if you like old WW2-charakters (German) look at www.noxgeo.com/ww3d

I'd also recommend wading through the files at the 3D Comics Collective (the link keeps popping in and out of the top 15). Some superhero costumes - especially the earliest ones - were pattered to some extent on military uniforms (such as the original (Shazam) Captain Marvel's), and some can be easily converted - and there is a good Warhammer 40,000 section if you're into high tech warfare. For historical gun-wielders, the site Leeroy5 named is one of the best, and Greylight Poser (another one that pops in and out of the top 15) has some good stuff in the Poser Archives (including duplicates of most of the WWII 3D stuff at the noxgeo site).

The props at WW3D (www.noxgeo.com/ww3d) include allied weapons as well as German. Some of the German uniform items are generic enough to modify.

If you're still looking; for a generic contemporary mercenary, Black Ops Soldier is at, IIRC, 3DCC.
