Subject: The Tailor doesn't work with Victoria 3!

Apparently the Tailor (which moves morphs from models like Vicki 1-2 to clothing which is made for them) can't figure out Vicki 3. Has anybody else figured out a way to incorporate morphs from a model into the clothes which are made for her? Guy

Two things. First, there has been a lot on this on the Poser forum...search and you will find (link to a tutorial has been provided). Second, there is a Tailor update coming to make life easier. The beta was released prematurely and pulled back but it should be in the works on Daz.

Hmm, I will have to try this out, though I was actually trying to modify a piece of V3 clothing that doesn't conform as well as I need it to. Thanks! Guy

Tailor works well for me with V3. What piece(s) of clothing are you having trouble with?

Hmm, I get an error message when I tried to use V3. I'll try again sometime. The armor on RDNA's Galactic Princess is the one that's giving me the problems. The breasts poke through, and I'm having trouble adjusting the breast size so that there's cleavage showing without poking through the chest area.

Are you using Poser 5 and a V3/Clothing item that you saved in P5? If so, you need the 1.5 update. DAZ posted it as Release Candidate 1, then retracted it. Hopefully it will be back soon. Are you having problems with all characters/clothing, or just a few?

The magnet approach may work for you: I am trying to convert some PoserWorld V3 Male shirts back to Female. I can do this with Tailor, but I'm not happy with the results -- the breasts are to bubbly and exaggerated and the lower back does not fit quite right. I downladed and installed SpectreWare's Ultimate Breast Magnet Pack 3(free). I loaded and conformed V3 and the shirt, then I applied "Vicky Full v05". I kept tweaking until I got the shape I wanted. The results are far better than what I got with Tailor, as magnets give you much more control over the shape. More importantly, I learned how to use magnets.

I am using V3 and some V3 clothing. I didn't get the 1.5 release candidate while it was up, unfortunately, so I'll have to wait for that one. I'll try the Ultimate Breast Magnet pack, though I have not mastered the use of magnets yet. Hopefully this will be user-friendly. Thanks! Guy
