But There are instances that I need clevage. and onto another issue shoes How do i get them to fit properly and not have the feet poke out the bottom. I have purchased Daz clothing and models and still get the poke through. I have also purchased the poser 5 hand book thiking this would addrss this and well nope, though a good resource book. People have used a lot of techniques, depending on the specific body-part involved and their particular skills, from trans-mapping body-parts to using the Tailor program or editing out the poke-thru with post-work. In your case I think if you invested some time learning the use of magnets in Poser, you'd get results you'd be happy with in pretty short order. Besides your Poser 5 Handbook, you can find tutorials via the link atop this page, and a lot of tips you'd likely find helpful via the Poser Forum Backroom Resources link in the masthead above as well.

Poke thru is the eternal problem.... Patience, dial twiddling and magnets are the only solutions, I'm afraid. Apart from hiding unnecessary body parts of course. Magnets are very good for this, you need to really, really becone good friends with magnets and their zones to create corresponding compensation morphs ion the clohtes so that things don't stick out. I'm assuming that you have posed right (only pose the character, the clothing will follow) and have conformed the clothing to the character first. Also, that you are using clothing that is specifically designed for the character and not a different character. If not, the joint parameters and proportions will be different and then there is no easy fix. Feet specifically - move the shoe a bit, up and down, to the sides, rotate etc. Also you can bend the foot a little, also the toe, and scale down the toe. You can scale up the shoe (even setting it to 101% helps sometimes) And you need of course to have the shoe parented to the foot. For the most part they parent automatically. :] Fish

I have to agree, many techniques. Conform, then work the dials. If that aint enough, Tailor if your model and clothing match, or just keep working the dials with some magnets.

And... The Nudity and Violence buttons are for when you post a pic that contains one or more of these. Please do NOT use it just to draw attention. It hides the post for those who have chosen NOT to see posts containing nudity (for instance for when you're at work) or violence (if you have little kids or a weak stomach ;o) ) and may cause you not the get an answer from the person who could help you :o)

Another thing that you might want to try is to make sure that IK is turned off on the clothing figure and that the joint paramaters are zero'd out. Then try conforming again.

Online Now!

I had lots of poke through problems and weird looking cleavage for my pinups but I have been saved. I purchased wyrmmaster's Victoria Vogue 2003 and Voluptuous Vicki 2003. Either one is great. It comes with prop magnets that change the body shape to whatever you want and then instantly, with 1 clik puts the body shape of your model onto the clothes. It is flawless. All the clothes now fit even if they don't have all the morphs included. Really, check it out because it is such a cool way to get clothes to fit.

There are many methods to eliminate poke through, and I find that a combination of Tailor and scaling changes on the body usually work for me. Oh ..and please don't use the nudity or violence tags unless you mean it .. you don't need to cry wolf to get attention around here Lyrra

condonww By the way, thanks for choosing a succinct and specific subject line. A lot of members here have dial-up modems, and can only read a small cross-section of posts here. Too many questions have headings like "HELP.....", or "I Have a PROBLEM!!!", or the ever-informative "Arrrrgh!". Headlines like this may get attention, but some of the members with the most useful tips may skip over them for lack of time. Your headline described your specific problem very well. The Nudity/violence thing is just an oopsie here, and don't feel bad about it, we just like to clarify rules like that often in hopes that other new-posters will see it and understand. A good headline also tends to help others with the same problem find the solution without posting a new thread. Happy rendering
