Subject: How do I save a CR2 and rename morphs?

Like the subject says, I'm wondering how to save my characters and all their morphs as a CR2. Also, how can you rename a morph? I have tons that stuff like "nose14" and "eyes15" and I think I need more specific names. Thanks.

In the cr2, which can be opened by something like Notepad, you can change the names on the dials. Very easy. To save a character as a new cr2 simply save it to the Figures palette. (the "+" at the bottom)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Each morph has two names (has a name in two places) The channel name - the first line - starts with targetGeom ___ The dial name - the third line - starts with name ___ When you apply or spawn a morph, the name you type goes into both. You can change the dial name - either in the parameters window, or with the Hierarchy editor. The channel name, which is what Poser uses and a pose file links to, can only be changed using a text editor. If the channel names are unique, there is no reason to alter them, you never see them. Poser 4 will not allow more than one morph in a group to have the same channel name. It erases all but one when you open the file. Poser 5 will add a _X to the end of the channel name if there is one there already with the same name.
