Firstly I am sorry if the above offends anyone, I would have gladly posted a link to this but I do not as yet have a web site. Okay we all know the problem with Eve and her stretching privates when using the Side to Side command on her buttock elements. Maybe someone has already found a solution that I have not seen, but this problem has driven me mad and into my very first adventure with the dreadful Joint Editor. And guess what I got lucky first attempt and I hope the before and after comparison demonstrates this (Frame 1, Side to Side at plus and minus 70 degrees). I am using the Eve V3 model with Travelers Lorissa3 texture, both available from his site Morph World 2 (Thank you again Traveler). Firstly load up your Eve model in the Poser window. Uncheck Inverse Kinetics for Left and Right legs. Work in one of the wireframe modes (I find they are easier to use and allow the full tracking option with little problem). With one of the buttocks selected open up the joint parameters editor and select side to side in the top option box (Frame 2). You will see three boxes with values 0.038, 0.388 and 0.001. The first box is the one we are interested in as it controls the green line (sorry about the lack of terminology). Change that value from 0.038 to 0.042. Repeat for the other buttock. Save your model in the library. (BTW Frame three shows the problem of the stretching before the fix) That is it, Eve problem solved, or at least one of them. You could play around with different values but this one seems to be about right. I have posed the changed model in a number of extreme poses and there does not seem to be a problem with it so far. In addition all the morphs seem to be working with it. STORM

Thanks! Never could figure out how and if I should ever touch those joint perameters. Think it would fix the skinny quad/knee you get when poser figures are kneeling or is that a matter for the equaly incomprehensible to me blending areas options? `dan

You are welcome Dan, I think Eve is one hell of a model, better in many ways than Victoria which was partially based on ideas from Torino's original work. With a little bit of work, maybe some hi-res replacement body parts in a modelling program (head, chest etc) and some work on the joints, Eve has the potential to be far better than Victoria. We will see. I don't know about the knee problem. like you I was, until the above, a complete novice at the Joint Parameters stuff. I am not sure exactly what you mean by skinny quad/knee perhaps scaling and/or tapering might help? I have never gone near the blending areas but maybe now is the time to try it. John
