I've been working on this image for the past week. I know It needs some textures, bumpmaps, lights (and the girl could also use some clothes, But right now my main concern is the background. Obvious It has got to look like the cockpit of a spaceship. For the past 2 days I've been working on that, but everything I created so far doesn't seem to look right. I'm running out of inspiration, so any ideas or comments are welcome! Thanks... StarDust

Well honestly I have no idea what to place as the background . I will though comment that this is one badass mesh you've made! What did you model in? And don't worry about texturing that'll come when it does. Take me for example , I model and model but I don't texture , yet. Good job StarDust!

I'd say try to get a tube, make it large enough so that it doesn't cover the camera, put yoiur model inside the tube, then put a flat plane below the model to act as a floor, or build some kind of support system up from the bottom of the tube. The advantage of using a primitive like a tube is that once it's large enough to have less of a radical curve, you could boolean openings for portholes in it, if needed. Great work

Talent is God's gift to you. Using it is your gift to God.

Everything was made with Rhino and imported into Bryce4. Except for all the cylinders, they are Bryce primitives. Thanks bonestructure for the suggestion.I've tried It with some stretched spheres and it seems to work. When the image is finished i'll upload it to the bryce gallery here on renderosity, so you can see the result...

Right on it looked like Rhino or something similar but I wasn't sure. And good luck with finishing your idea , I can't wait to see it posted!
