My goodness, there are so many great ideas to choose from. I am going to vote for NIGHT because there are so few night photos displayed in the gallery. It gives me the impression that not many of us try night photography and therefore it would truly be a challenge to us. This seems like a great oppotunity for us to improve our skills and bounce our ideas and knowledge of one another. Plus with it nearly being summer the evening temperatures will be perfect for being out. Just my humble opinion, of course :)

MzQt - I second your humble opinion and vote for night. I have several night shots and love to take them at anytime of year.

OK I vote for emotional nights. Just kidding. I love night shots myself. Thing is that I actually got a job! I start on June 2nd so I won't be getting out very often after dark. But I will be getting a paycheck! Night definately Night. Magick Michael

@Cynlee.....and anyone else who's concerned.... Don't worry! I think that this will be very open to interpretation. Use your imaginations! Remember Night does not mean pitch black, low light also qualifies, and you must have light in order to take a picture onto film or CCD! Don't forget that we have an excellent tutorial in the Resource Center written by Rork, which is very useful to help with this. Think out of the box ... NIGHT is just a word. Hmmmm....

Punk, no worry! Its not that cold in Oz! The image in the banner up above, it was 36F (2.5C) when I took that. and "The Ben", when I took that [http://www.zhounder.com/photogalleries/placesg1_137.htm] it was a whopping 22F (-6c). The sacrifices we make for our art!

hmmmm......night, abstract, blue, circle? decisions, decisions! seems as though night is getting a rather large lead quickly, but I still would like to see a lot of the folks on here who tend to shoot "normal" images think WAY outside the box and try abstract, so I will throw my vote to ABSTRACT..... Well I'm going to throw my vote for night too...since I think it will be interesting. @enax don't go taking pictures of blue circles on the water at night in any abstract way just yet.... :~) I'll announce the start of the challenge in a day or so, and chances are it will simply be NIGHT....since that is by far the one that is ahead right now..... 12 for night 3 for abstract 3 for emotion 3 for vacation 2 for motion 1 for silence/alone....whatever ya wanna call it!
