Well there's this little hill next to my apartment building complex here in Seoul, and sitting on top of it is this classic Korean pavilion, rebuilt from one of the last dynasties before the Japanese invasion. Anyway, I was there a couple of days ago wondering what to do next -this was before getting the sting of the metropolis... so I'm sitting there looking at the view, the 2002 world cup stadium, etc, and it hits me... I'm going to model the pavilion... easy, all the textures are there, it's only a matter of tweaking, as long as I build it from the ground up the only problem should be the ceiling. So today I grabbed my smokes, my trusty 3.3 megapixel and went for it, took about 50 pictures. Here are a couple. I'm going to slowly build it up, hopefully it'll be done in a couple of days. Heh... wishful thinking =D Cheers, let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions. I'm modelling most of it in Wings but I'm putting it together in Bryce because I feel more comfortable with the interface in terms of positioning and replicating elements. Textures are going to be a bit of a pain because my hand always trembles and some of the pics aren't exactly straight, but Photoshop should fixy fixy quite nicely. Oh and inside the pavilion there was this guy singing on his bamboo flute. I took it as a sign :P Mihnea
