Which stands for: Rolling On the Floor Laughing My A** Off So Hard I Can't Get Up And I Think I Hurt Myself... That is just too wrong, Phoul. ;-)

Remember, kids! Napalm is Nature's Toothpaste!

Sharen: the format is QuickTime. You should be able to download it here. Yes, there is a version for Windows too.

That is one of the most impressive collection of Poser animations I have ever seen.

SnowSultan ( ) posted Wed, 28 May 2003 at 1:21 PM

That's probably the most professional animation I've ever seen come out of any affordable 3D program, let alone Poser. I hope you have a job doing this because you create movie-quality stuff! ;) SnowS

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.

Read his bio; Phoul is a director. I'm gonna have to throw 'Sculptors' at a certain Lightwave snob I know... Already broke his reality when he learned that the -last- demo reel was Poser and Vue/Mover4. Not a 'professional' package... >:)= And another very well done, Phoul!

Techyman ( ) posted Wed, 28 May 2003 at 3:33 PM

Another great show! As someone who has just gotten Vue4/Mover4, I'd like to know if you animated the dog and the statue together, or did you use two different .pz files?

Merci beaucoup. Thanks to all. :-)))

SnowSultan you said: I hope you have a job doing this because you create movie-quality stuff! Thank you for your support. Well...not yet for that kind of job. Hum... in fact, it is just started. Strange way. Last week I made my first Poser profesionnal animation for a documentary. It was for a film about St-Dominique (which will be diffused next july or august, on France2, a french TV channel). At the beginning it was AfterFx job (animated historic maps or still documents). I was not the director. Just the graphist (freelance). But the director saw my "hobbie" demos. And he asked to me to add a shape of St-Dominique walking on an old map. Remember indiana-jones maps, with the red lines for his journeys... It is the same kind, with a little guy added, rendered with scketch designer, and composed ;-). I hope that I could share a preview of that broadcast shot on my web site soon.
Otherwise, since few weeks, I have some 'rendez-vous' with products, 3d studios,... can't tell more now ;-) As we say in french to have lucky days: touchons du bois (let's touch wood).

Techyman : I used only one pzz file. All is animated in Poser. I make animatics for the camera too. And in vue I try to get the same camera.

Thanks again all. :-)))
Philippe

PS: sorry for my poor english.

Phoul: We say something similar - "Knock on wood"

Remember, kids! Napalm is Nature's Toothpaste!

Bobasaur ( ) posted Thu, 29 May 2003 at 10:12 AM

Phoul, I'm glad to hear you're going to get paid for doing this. I've thought your work was worthy of it ever since I first saw it. I have touched wood on your behalf!

Before they made me they broke the mold!
