Subject: Ok decided I want to start making my own character textures...

Can someone point me in the right direction of the best tutorials for making textures for Vicki. etc.....?

That would depend upon whether you're going to work with photo texturing or if you're going to do it by hand. For the former, I highly recommend BTSculptor's tutorials on photo texturing. They have come in quite handy and offer some useful information. They're available in the Marketplace. For the latter, you can find quite a few tutorials on texturing by hand all around the internet. Check the tutorials here at Renderosity and also visit Arcana at Daz3D's site. You'll find a couple of handy tutorials that deal with certain aspects of texturing.
