This is a follow up and kind of tutorial on creating motion blur in Bryce 5.0 Its a follow up from the new pic I uploaded. Here check this out...........

Ok, I've created a couple images to show you how you can create natural motion blur in bryce... FIRST... Make some kind of plane.. water or mountain. Then select your camera. Your option box will look like this. Under FOV, change it to 180. That is the widest lense Bryce will allow you to have.

Adjust the stars and sky and all the little options you want.. This is what you'll start with:

Now, the trick is to rotate your canvas. Once you've done that, lower your camera to just above the ground or water level. Here I've chosen to rotate the canvas to -15.

And this is the final result... Im not sure why, but Bryce ends up doing a soft natural motion blur.. Notice the stars at the top left corner. Or the ground in dead center.. There you go... The rest is all window dressing. Have fun :)

Nice job Dash. For those interested - here is why it is happening: The fisheye is causing distortion and then tilting the canvas causes distortion on the already existing distortion - that's where the soft edges come from. Since Bryce is really like a pinhole camera the deepest part of the scene gets distorted and gives a nice illusion of speed and motion blur. This effect is pretty easy to get in PS but you did it all in Bryce - very cool! -Scott
