With the sharp edges on the wings, it will look more real with a bronze texture. Stone work cannot be chiseled with those sustained curves and thinness. I doubt if poured plaster or concrete could do it, either. I'd really suggest that you stay with metals. There are some lovely aged copper, brushed aluminum, bronze textures in the free sites. im using a basic reflective metal to get the feeling of where im putting the lights so far on this model, but now i want to switch to one of those old stone textures (a freebie from rdna), but it isn't giving any of those texture differentials.. any ideas how to get this to work?
