Just curious, there was a post down below about a special price on Bryce, however I already have it my nephew was interested int it and wanted to download the free trial, it was there last night but he didn;t get it, today bryce has all but been virtually erased from corel's site there are no links to it. Is bryce 6 getting ready to come out? Or are they dropping bryce? It is not listed in products or anything anymore.

Hey all, I looked at the link in a previous thread about a reduced price version of Bryce at www.tigerdirect.com. It looks like they have two versions though (not including the upgrade version). One they call "Corel Bryce 5 3D Landscaping & Animation" for $70, and the other is "Corel Bryce 5.0 Full" for $170. Based on the features list they look to be pretty much the same thing. Does anyone know what the difference between the two versions is? Thanks, Josh

Don't quote me, but I think Bryce 5 is it..I think Bryce 6 has been cancelled, but I could be wrong. Right now, Corel is doing good to make payroll, much less develop products. I think the company's up for sale/acquisition/etc. Don't worry, Bryce 5 will go on..;)

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

If you want to find Bryce on Corel's site, you have to look under Products/Other Products, and then they have it on the list of all the products they make. But, they no longer offer the free trial version. I registered my Corel Essentials a year or so ago, and they just sent me a color brochure for Painter 8. So, they are trying to create new products/version, I just think they are just too far behind Adobe in all areas they are in, IMO.
