I'm curious if anyone can guess the base mesh used for this lady.

Not a great picture, I know, but I wanted to see how obvious what mesh was used.

That's gotta be Judy or DinaV :)

Redfern ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 12:09 PM

I'm going to say "Don" from Poser 5. Honest, I'm not trying to be a wise-guy. There's a certain chiseled look to the features that reminds me of the P5 male. Sincerely, Bill

Koshi?! no that's not it, wait I know, The Slugan, errrr housemouse? wait I KNOW...it's the mil dragon. Really looks like Don in drag.

Lyrra ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 12:16 PM

Something about the eyes reminds me of Dacort's Natalia ... but that seems less likely than V3.. I've gotten that jawline with v3

I'll bet if I say Alan Alda one more time somebody is going to slap me... :P

Slap bad Axe ;) hehehe I bet it's really George Clooney

Tony Curtis in "Some Like it Hot." Or is it P5 "Don" as Charlotte Rampling after a "make it look like Nicole" henna job?

JDexter ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 12:49 PM

Ack! I don't think she looks like a man in drag! Definitly not the look I was going for. I think she is pretty in an Annie Lennox kind of way. So no, it's not Don! (If Don' had eye morphs like that I would use him more often!) JDexter

As I said earlier, I meant no offense. Sorry, I really didn't mean to hurt your feelings. If it's any consolation, now I'm totally stumped. Sincerely, Bill

You didn't hurt my feelings. :) I was more suprised by the other drag comments, not yours. I could see the chiselled feature thing, but like I said, Don (and Judy) both need some serious eye work. They are both nice models, but with their eyes there's not much I would do with them. JDexter

Cyhiraeth ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 12:58 PM

Sorry, JDexter, but it really does look like a guy in drag....I have no idea what mesh this is. I would probably guess Don too, as something about the eyes/eyebrows resembles him. I always thought Don sort of had this Jack Nicholson eyebrow thing going on. I don't really see an Annie Lennox - maybe with a different hair style and some more make-up.....

JDexter ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 1:01 PM

She just reminds me of Annie because of the long and chiselled face. Pretty, but not a super-model. Anyway, it's Stephanie. JDexter

Well it was Stephanie, until I turned her into a man in drag, LOL! I transferred some of the Boris (by Capsces, here in the MP)face morphs over to her so I could have some more flexibility (Head shaping, etc) which just isn't available with the standard Steph. I like Steph, but the top of her head always seems a bit alien sized. The Boris morphs help a lot. JDexter

Bueaty is in the eye of the beholder. If you like, more power to ya :) At least she doesn't look like Klinger. ducks

I was just kidding. Sorry, you put something like this out for comments, and you never know what you'll get! This is definitely not the first time that Stephanie has been accused of looking masculine. As you know, there's a reason for that. :-)

JDexter ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 1:37 PM

I think I figured out the main reason why the male look. It's the jawline. It is too masculine. I think if I soften it up a bit, the maleness will go away. JDexter

kamilche ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 1:39 PM

I was going to guess the Poser Dork, but you fessed up too quickly. ;-) I don't think it's only the jawline. The wrinkles on either side of the mouth add to the maleness too. That's what the dork has, and that's why I thought she was based on him.

RHaseltine ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 2:02 PM

Klinger was a character in MAS*H, who wore dresses in the hope of being declared mentally unfit and discharged.

FrankJann ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 2:51 PM

I think it's something about the top of the head. Like the brow and upper cheek areas. It's definitely the eyebrows and eyes combined with that area that made me first think the mesh was based on Don also. It just seems that maybe there's something disproportionate about the area above the cheekbones compared to the jaw area. Not sure exactly but hope it helps. Sorry to jump on the "isn't that Don" wagon but that what I thought at first too. Good luck with it. Frank

JetM ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 8:25 PM

I think she looks great. Excellent character face. More real looking than a lot of faces we've seen around here. Many women have a rather "masculine" look to them. Boris morphs, huh...?
