Not my photo, but an example of why Trekkies shouldn't be allowed to purchase vehicles in this country. :) It use to be a VW Bus. -=>Donald

I wouldn't want to own either, but I get a real kick out of the creativity and time that was obviously spent on them. Just another form of art that will inspire Oooo's or booo's. Thanx for sharing :)

Yes, the enterprise one is a little OTT, isn't it?!? Like the bottom one though - well, apart from that totally useless front bumper... though on second thoughts it saves packing the picnic table in the van........ (",)

I agree with Mz, I do appreciate the effort put into those things. I wouldn't do the same thing if I had that kind of money to waste, though. Hahaha... :-) (*

And this one is just in case there were any smug Star Wars fans out there thinking "freaking trekkies ... they're so stupid". Ha! -=>Donald

And this one is just plain creepy ... how do people find time to do stuff like this?

JordyArt ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 1:36 PM

I don't remember Han Solo having fluffy dice, tho'..... You may all mock, but I'd LOVE to do a car up like the film version of the Batmobile.....(no, not the 60's series version) and I even toyed with the idea of making my bike into one like Judge Dredd's...... Yeah, go on, laugh. bar stewards. (",)

DHolman ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 2:04 PM

Hehehe ... admit it, you don't think that Dredd was truly complete until he was portrayed by Stallone. Bahahahahaha. Jordy wants to be Stallone ... Jordy wants to be Stallone.

JordyArt ( ) posted Wed, 04 June 2003 at 5:23 PM

Don, Stallone WAS Dredd until he took the helmet off - his chin matches pretty damn well!!! Funny you shud say that tho' - when I was 16 I had almost-shoulder length hair...and a perm....(Hey, this was the 80's OK? You wanna take the mick outta me, you gotta take the mick outta 'Chelle - omg, sorry 'Chelle, I said I'd never mention that pic, didn't I?!?) The two names I had to endure both related to films released at the time.... Prince (Purple Rain was out) and.... yep, you've guessed it... RAMBO!!!! sigh the shame and humiliation..... (",)

tsk tsk Poor guy ... ummm, can I call you Jordy-bo from now on? hehehe I saw that photo of the raven haired one. But, see, I can overlook that 'cause, I mean, hell ... look at her now. (sorry, need to wipe that drool from my chin). I have to admit you are right About Stallone. His chin when he had the helmet on looked right. But the problem for me began before he took off the helmet or even said one word. I never, in a million years, saw Dredd as being only 5'9" tall. :D -=>Donald
