http://bau2.uibk.ac.at/sg/python/Sounds.html http://www.moviesounds.com/holygral.html Monty Python clips, both links. And, I made my husband record an inane line from the Simpsons (Tell her her rump's as big as the queen's and twice as fragrant!) and made the ToonFish say it just because... well, just because... I spent over $80 just to be silly, and I enjoy every second of it :)

I've only played with Mimic 2 Pro today, so I haven't figured much out yet (I haven't read anything that came with it yet, either). So far I've created jabberwock quoting elves, pointless fish and a singing goblin. All have been excellent results and required only minor, minor tweaking in Poser. The ability to have it work with the exact CR2 that you'll be using is wonderful. If you have need for lip sync animation, I can't think of a better deal for the money.

i have, deffenedly! Its nice 2 hear, that mimic is, what im searching for. For the nighmare of doing such kind of work manually, that followed me over the last weeks will come 2 an end soon ;] what can mimic do, besides lipsyncing?

Might I suggest you visit the source? Mimic 2.0.

Mimic animates the head of the figure, creating facial movements and head bobs to fit the speech.

Also, if you don't want to use your own voice, I found a very good text to speech website that has probably the most natural sounding voices I've heard to date. I used the first female British voice for a recent Lara Croft avi I did.

Hehe. The first thing I did was take the Mill Girl into Mimic 2 pro and make her say the Jabberwocky quote. Then in Poser I applied the Pose to my highly morphed version with huge anime eyes. worked perfectly. I have to say that I am very impressed with the ability to insert emotions on a NLE style timeline. I havn't read any documentation yet and got good results. I made it so She started with a neutrl expression which shifted to an angry one when she says "Eyes of Flame" Back to neutral and a happy one on "Burbled as it came." The effect was very lifelike, with a bit of tweaking. (all in mimic) I didn't use the text, just the audio analysis so there were a fair amount of incorrect consonants, which were very easily fixed on the timeline. I'll have to try it with the text later, and check out the docs. Oh yeah and the Open GL preview ROCKS! I am actually getting very excited about Daz studio now. :D Bottom line Mimic 2 pro is Very very nice.

This is a pretty good website for voices, too. http://www.naturalvoices.att.com/demos/
