Ok guys sometimes I get the feeling some people just don't care on this forum. Anyway I am reposting this Image, this Is a mesh update of a character that I'm fleshing out from scractch in Carrara. Then I will attempt to make to make it fully poseable in P4. So please comment on the model folks whether you like it or not, therefore all comments appreciated. Again here it is the Naktu Dragon with wings. Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease

Dude I think your doing great, I don't have the slightest idea on how to model a figure like this (maybe someday) but from what I see you have obviously got the hang of it. sorry about not commenting earlier but didn't want to bore you with the usual aaaaaaaa looks good to me :) Maybe when you get done you'll give me some tips? I'll comment... look like a lot of good, hard work, but honestly, I'm having trouble seeing the shape properly. You have a concept in mind, clearly, but I don't... maybe youe should post views from multiple angles, and maybe put some temp textures on to give us a better idea of what you're going for. --

Hey folks thanks for commenting, and Stacey I'm the one that should apologyze to everyone about my first sentence in the original message of some people just don't care in this forum I'M SORRY FOLKS. I was wearing my beer goggles coming from a party last night when I posted the message. Servo the reason I'm not posting multiple and textured views of the character, is because it is not complete i have some more work to do on it. The concept of the character is a futuristic dragon part living tissue part mechaniical, If you look closely at the wings they are equiped with missiles. Thanks again for taking the time to comment Love and Peace

Kind of a Borg dragon? It is a little difficult to figure all of it out, but I'd like to see more greebling on the mechanical stuff. (Greebling, if it's not a standard term, is all the hyper-details that they put on Sci-Fi models [physical ones] for the movies.) I wasn't sure what was going on with the three posts poking out from where the right leg "should" be -- if it had some hydraulic looking pump things, or some "antigrav emitter" or something like that, it might be a little clearer. Of course, textures will help clarify things like that, too.... I think the wings might need to be a little less busy. All those multiple levels of bones (?) and skins are a little confusing. I really like the concept. The head's sculpting is great. Keep us updated on progress!

Working hard on It AzChip, this my first 3D character and I am still a newbee at Carrara with no prior 3D modeling experience. I would love to implement your comments to the character, but I am having a touch time just to get to the point I am now mind you that you have the same Ideas in mind as I do. And yes for the right leg, hydrolic pumps are what I have in mind, applying it to the figure so it may link as a hole is another mountain for me to climb. It's been rough so far AzChip, and as far as the wings go If you look closely they are 3 separate levels (Level 1:Bones with missiles, Level 2:Jet like with missiles, Level 3:Mechanical with missiles and razor sharp edges for some serious demolishing power. I hope i do not sound crazy, I figured that my first character will be as confusing and as though for me to create as possible. Which means once It's complete anything else should be a peace of cake for me. Thanks for the comments AzChip love and Peace

It looks like it's really coming along, Sergio! I agree that a bit of (temporary) texture might help to define the shape. Just keep us posted...Can't wait to see the next step! Daf
