I am having trouble finding an Army uniform. No flak jacket or anything -- just the green canvas looking pants and shirt, hopefully with epilettes? (for the shoulder thingy) I will keep looking, but I thought I would post and try my luck here.

PhilC has done sets for army, navy, etc.. I don't have them, but I have a bunch of his other clothing and he does good work. I found these under the compilation CD, but it looks like you can buy the separate services online. Carolly

I have the set above from PhilC and it is a great set. It includes uniforms for P4 male and P4 female and Mike and Vick.

Well, that's because they are running away too fast and no one can catch them long enough to see what their uniforms look like! Badoom-Cha! (running and ducking....) Just a joke folks!

Cyhiraeth : jokes are usually trying to be fun, this is merely insulting. Finally got your job at Fox News ? Steve : I'd love to see them when you finish them ! Thanks a lot. lelionx : This year's D-Day celebration was focused on the canadian contingent...

lelionx ( ) posted Fri, 06 June 2003 at 10:43 PM

i've heard of D-Day memorials (usually quite somber events) but i've never heard of a D-Day celebration.where does this take place?

compiler ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 4:54 AM

Ah. I probably misused a term for another. My apologies. English is not my first language. On the other hand, French people do tend to see it as a sort of celebration since it recalls not only the deaths to be mourned, but also the friendship between people willing to sacrifice their lives for one another. This particuliar part was a little less obvious this year. It will get better next year I hope.
