Gotta wonder what this means for the future of Bryce... Hopefully they'll sell it to Pandromeda now! ;-) -Mo

Might be best if they just trashed Corel as it is today and rebirthed a new-co with the IP from Corel. It would probably be cheaper to get the IP for Bryce out of the waste bin than it would be straight purchasing it.

If they really sell Bryce the new owner should ask for the ideas from the betatesters. Cool stuff there ;-) What is a must: If one include a new renderer the old should be able to switched on instead too. So you can render your old scenes the same way you made them. Same for textures. It is not a good idea to have Bryce and not be able to use anything of the old stuff again. Bryce Interface: Evolution, yes. Complete new one, no. If one changes the interface too much it is no longer Bryce. More complete scenes to learn from must be included on CD in future versions. Maybe a videoworkshop where you can see how one of the scenes was created. More textures needed too. All that makes it easier for new buyers yet said: Nice program but too complicated. Greetings Thomas

Don't want to be the fly in the ointment but this could be a bad thing. There was an PC text editor called Brief, it was nice and fast but the company had problems and they got bought up by Borland. That was it, they took it apart and Brief the editor was never seen again. Hope thats not going to happen to Bryce but we can't open the champagne yet.
