Do you remember how we all ran home from the Saturday morning picture house and made Davy Crockett hats or Loan Ranger masks? No? Well how about Ninja Turtle suits when the TV cartoons were over? Go on admit it. Well I guess this is much the same. I totally enjoyed the film, so here is my piece of escapism. You can enjoy it too by downloading the freebie from my site. There will also be a link in the freestuff here.

Cool! Thanks alot! I love the Matrix.

Noooooooooooooooo! Poser 5? Although this is a GREAT freebee, I still refuse to take Poser 5 out of it's box. Don't want to upset a smooth running system. Sure is generous of you though!

GraphicFoxx ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 11:16 AM

Very nice Phil! Thank you. MysticMind, it's set up for Don, but since it's dynamic, it can really be made to work with any figure.

hauksdottir ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 11:27 AM

Way cool! Thanks!! Are those modeled buttons all the way down? (I didn't see the movie, but appreciate style). krimpr, The shades and background are included, too... and should work anywhere. Carolly

I wanted one of Captain Video's Cosmic Ray Vibrators, myself. Or perhaps the Space Patrol Cosmic Smoke Gun. For purely professional reasons, of course.

Thanks Carolly. You haven't seen the Matrix yet???? Now would be a good time for a good defrag, a bowl of popcorn and to watch the rental of part 1. If you start now, you can see part 2 at the show tonight. Your system will thank you for it, look at it that way.

Khai-J-Bach ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 12:07 PM

it's the flying vicar!!! (put a 'dog collar' on him and you'll see LOL) hmmm can this work in P4Pro? or is it really 5 only?

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 12:37 PM

You could probably load the coat into Pro Pack, but it's a static, nonposable prop. Of course, with the Setup Room, it wouldn't take much effort to make it a conforming figure. Making it conform well is another story ....

lelionx ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 12:54 PM

there's also a series of short animation films,"Animatrix" who's stories all revolve around the matrix concept.all are cell animations except the first one which was done in 3D.i couldn't read the credits because they were so small but i think the first one was done by the same group that did "Final Fantasy the Spirits Within".it even looked like they used some of the same characters and voices from FF.well worth seeing just for the first one.really amazing.i saw it on cable PPV this week.

I've gotta say PhilC does some of the best dynamic clothing pieces out there- and believe me, I've tried making my own, and it isn't easy (my meshes tend to crease along obvious edges between vertices. Guess I need better tesselation.) Thanks, PhilC! Keep up the good work!

robz ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 1:48 PM

im yet to see the movie but 1 word for a work such as this WOW its so realistic you could have done the "animatrix" !! nice one!

ronstuff ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 2:53 PM

Cowabunga! THANKS Phil! Really nice work, and glad that you are supporting Poser 5.

Berserga ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 3:10 PM

Man How could ANYONE be dissapointed with that movie. OK I was actually pretty worried for about the first 15-20 minutes what with the beneath the planet of the apes style religious junk, but man after they left Zion the rest of the movie was so... wow. And not just the effects but the story too, it more than made up for the cheezy "dance party/love love scene. ^_^ I think some people expected to have the same feelings they had when they watched the first film. This of course is impossible because the first film was built on the Mystery of "what is the matrix?" Well with that pretty much answered in the first film you are left with more of an action story, Though there are definately some great revelations towards the end. Anyway. PhilC as usual, bang upp work and thanks for the generosity. Actually I figured somebody woulda made Neo's "super priest" outfit for Male V3, with the Morphing fantasy dress.

Scathdebas ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 3:17 PM

I absolutely HATED that steaming turd of a movie. The CGI was horrible (it was REAL OBVIOUS when they switched to and from real actors/CGI), the plot was bad bad BAD (why does turning off power in the virtual world impact the security of the real-world mainframe), and the worst thing is that this film forgot the lessons of the first film (why was morpheus afraid of falling off of a truck? why didn't he just float like he did in the judo lessons -- plus -- a fall from a skyscraper wasn't real, remember? why they worried about an 8-foot drop onto an imaginary freeway?) I give this movie a BIG BAH!

MachineClaw ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 3:34 PM

Matrix Revolutions will answer the questions. The Enter The Matrix game answer more questions too. Animatrix put in some etra background. Its all the Bros. global multimedia concept. Phil thank you, great Matrix clothing. Hehe, also works for Equilibrium clothing (loved this movie more than both matrix movies!) Poser has you, follow the white rabbit (or the red dots either way haha!)

Berserga ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 5:31 PM

Everything was explained quite clearly in both movies if you payed close attention. As for the idea of characters fearing things in the matrix that is simple. as stated clearly most folks like Morpheus etc... can only "bend the rules" while Neo can out and out break them. The fall from the skyscraper wasn't in the matrix it was in a Human made training program. When Neo fell he didn't die cuz the rules were4 different there. There are limits to how Much "Floating Morpheus and Trinity etc... can do. They can't fly like Neo.

Berserga ( ) posted Sat, 07 June 2003 at 5:33 PM

As for "Obvious" virtual actors. I didn't see any Jarring examples, at least nowhere near as bad as Spiderman. And Even though the CG actors in Spiderman are painfully obvious at times, I still think that movie is great to so... :P

Thanks a lot Phil, can we use this with P4 also, anybody tried yet, Fyrene?:)

"why was morpheus afraid of falling off of a truck? why didn't he just float like he did in the judo lessons -- plus -- a fall from a skyscraper wasn't real, remember? why they worried about an 8-foot drop onto an imaginary freeway?" well.. consider that the Keymaker was on top of the truck with an Agent that wanted to kill him before he killed Morpheus, Morpheus of course trying to stop him and the truck moving at what.. 60, 70 mph? falling off would have given the Agent time to kill the Keymaker before Morpheus could infact get back..

Berserga ( ) posted Sun, 08 June 2003 at 10:42 AM

It's Dynamic, not conforming so no it won't work in P4.

Lyrra ( ) posted Sun, 08 June 2003 at 3:03 PM

Unfortunately I had seen "Ghostbusters" the night before ...so when the "keymaker" was introduced I nearly died laughing snicker and plus, that robe/coat is a dead ringer for a priestly garment from various orders... very handy so Thanks Phil!

Yes... I admit it.. I build the USS Enterprise in my friends backyard from cardboard, a shopping cart, an old TV set, some sheets and a martras...
