Both shots look good to me. If you want some serious critique, show us some of your mistakes where you don't know what went wrong.

Flags photo

Well like the Flag one it looks boring and I don't know why? I think it's the angle but I don't know what it is.. the bird one as well...

Humm, boring you say? In my opinion, the bird is fine the way it is. Black & white is a good choice for that shot. One thing black & white does though, on a shot like the flags, is make the impact more subtle. The left pine tree is a distraction. Maybe you could take the shot again more from the left side, of course then, you will need a wind that comes from a different angle to make the flags look full. You can do a lot of postwork with PhotoShop or something to mask areas or soften the background trees so they are less detailed. Do you have a good photo editing program? I guess there are two ways to look at it. You can either attempt to make the photo perfect with the angle, light, setup, etc ... when you take it or after you take it with a photo editor. You can't take a shot that isn't there but you can build one. It depends on what you want as the final result.

Welcome to the Forum, Infra. Doca got it right when he said we can't mak it it better if we do not know what you were trying to accomplish. "Boring"? hmm... bet it wasn't boring for the poor little birdie. Most of everything is boring. The great thing about photography is that is lets you look at everything from different angles and relationships, and sometimes find wonder in the commonplace. When approaching any subject, study it from different angles, maybe at different times of day with different light. Look for strong compostitional elements. [What are these? Some of the monthly Challenge's here help with this.] As for equipment and media; the Canon system is great; I've used them for years. B&W is an expressive media, but challenging.

Misha883 thanks for the help and you too Doca. So mostly the photos them self look ok it's the angel and the way to make the object look out of the norm and more intresting that I need to work on right. But mostly these two are ok then?
