in an earlier thread i posted that i couldnt install or open some of my files, now i cant even open Poser!!!! AAAAAAHHHH, i am running an antivirus program so hopefully that will find any viruses but i dont know if that is the problem, any help would be great!

Sorry but the fastest will be Uninstall/ reinstall. Note: This takes less than 15 minutes on an average machine. When uninstalling you do not loose your libary! When reinstalling chose custom setup and deselect the libary installation. It is faster and there will not be made modifications to your setup. Hint: as soon as you start up your poser first time push the the middle UI memory dot. If the preview window after a bad shut down has disapered then just push that dot again. Best luck

That's an odd happening. Give CL a call and ask them. I'm sure they would like to know.

mimimimi is right, a reinstall is the way to go.

Norton AV. Forget McAffee or other online virus checkers. These days, fully protecting your system from the possible avenues of infection is the only way to avoid them (or use another system exclusively for internet, no networking to other machines). I receive about a dozen emails with W32 virus every week. Luckily they are automatically Bayesianed out by a spam filter. Keep it enabled all the time except when not connected to the internet or installing. BYS
