Subject: Multiple suns in Vue4?

davidgreensmith ( ) posted Thu, 05 June 2003 at 9:27 AM · edited Mon, 25 November 2024 at 11:51 AM

Does anyone know if it is possible to produce multiple suns in Vue 4? For example, a landscape of a planet orbiting a binary.

Sure. Just experiment with lens flare to create the visibility of your light sources.

For multiple suns I would use volumetric spotlights. Make them all shadowless, except the sun.

Guitta,
By 'volumetric' you mean a volume atmosphere, right? The results look great.

No, I mean a volumetric light (spot or sun)

Volumetric light can also be in a NON volumetric atmosphere :-)

The reason I asked was because the image above doesn't show the volume option turned on. - Charles

OK, I understand. Lens flare. That's what I meaned. You also can make it volumetric then :-)
