I don't get this...I had a rating on my theatre image that was a bunch of sad faces...I wish people would mean what they say or explain their reasoning for their comments. If they don't like it then maybe they can offer some explanation so I can correct it in the future and maybe so other people looking at it can apply those tips in their own images, but if it was a joke then it's pretty shady because now I have that blemish in there. Sorry just venting, MD

Yeah blow it off, most of the time people do that it's due to jealousy or just ignorance, take it with a grain of salt.

Thanks guys...good words of wisdom to follow actually. :) I was just initally upset at it, it's not the greatest image in the world but goodness. Consider how many good vs moronic comments there, then go look at the gallery of the heckler....I DID.

Some people are just nasty. This one has no gallery, no homepage, no store and no freestuff. There's nothing to prove that he or she has any knowledge to build on. I quess it's just a troll. I mean, as you said it's not the best image in the world, but it is by no means a bad or ugly image. Personally I would have send an IM. This 'luisilich' has been around here on 'Rosity since 04/08/2001, so sooner or later he or she will probably receive and read it.

Halo...haha...I tried looking at it that way but I couldn't convince myself at that one. :) Rayraz...I know what you mean...I just hope it doesn't happen again. I remember with one of my images I had such a horrible post in there it was embarassing to even take it as a joke and there's no way I could have gotten rid of just the comment itself so the image got deleted. :( MD

Went back by the picture (already seen it, liked it), and threw in some smily faces..hope they're even now. Coulda been someone who just hated practicing the piano..or agoraphobia, or whatever. Always accept constructive criticism, and ignore the other kind..;)

Don't worry too much... it's annoying when it happens. Sometimes people just bash images around, clearly they don't have anything better to do.

I'm happy to see that you are not gonna let it get you down MadDog. There is never anything bad or sad about your images, some might not be 100% but that's the same with everyone here. I have had that happen, and sent an IM to the person. I guess I was lucky, once they realized I was a person, not just the image, they removed the offensive post. I wonder if you can request that a mod remove offensive comments? Might be worth finding out. Tres

You can always request that they remove the post, they can just say 'no'. I always visit the offending commenters gallery and if there's nothing, no home page, no gallery etc., then I forget it, they have nothing, you have everything, don't let it bother you...8) :] :)

Sure you can. Gallery comments are to be "helpful comments for improving". MadDog31, the frowning comment has been deleted from your "Theatre Inachev. Sent a polite I.M. to the member who left the comment to be more detailed in their comments, since they had also left frowns on two other members' pics. AgentSmith

Yup, grain of salt (always) And, you never know, the frowns could just be put there because the members doesn't speak a lot of english, etc. Who knows? (until I actually hear back from them) Keep rendering. AS
