Hi all, I've been too busy lately to do much (I've missed visiting the forum!), but finally got a little time last night to start a new image. I'd like to get some input on how to improve it and possible directions to take with it...

Thanks for your help!

the cat tails on the left could be in the water just a bit more. maybe tilt the camera back just a bit. Wait, I know, take a look at the Bryce forum banner, there is a link there for Spotlight of the week, Check that out first, Great tips!! Looks good so far.

Thanks for pointing out the spotlight site. Great tips there :) I'm going to play with the camera location, too :)

The water looks a bit too rough imho, it is between trees so the wind shouldn't be that extreme. Love the textures on the trees

the water texture looks perfect for a rain image (what settings did you use, people want to know! (or at least i do))

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!

It looks great, I'd merely shrink and drop the cattails down a bit, to add to a sense of scale. And put some plants on the little hillock right in the center of the image, one rarely sees hard, sharp lines in nature... Glad you got some time to create, though!
