I've not had this problem, but you might like to go into the Edit menu and tell Poser to memorize the hair's position, then you can simply "restore element" to get it back into place. The hair is a smart prop, it shouldn't need parenting to the head - it should stay in place automatically. Also, make sure you have "hip" selected when you add the hair to the figure to ensure it goes into the right position. Paul

thx Paul, that memorize/restore works, selecting hip doesn't btw, why you have to select hip, not head or body, sounds kinda strage to me

By selecting hip, the hair (usually) comes in perfectly positioned on the head. Not too sure why that is though :) Paul

The problem might be in the pose file. When you save a pose, not only do you have the option to save it con/sans morph channels, but you can select elements from a hierarchy type listing. It is allowed to add or not add the hair. I have not explored the results of each of the variables, but I suspect that if the hair were included in the pose file and a different hair model is present with the object, this may be what causes the problem. I do my poses with bald models and I think that the hair stays.
