there has to be a way to get a single shot that grabs it - - the river that is i like this one with the total elements you could possibly get in one photo reduced via email to c.45KB

That is a fairly wide river. Had you not said it was a river, I would have mistaken it for a lake. I like the lighting and how incredibly low the clouds seem to be ;)

MzQt---Mississippi UP North far bank is Minnesota Black River and "M" form this artificial dam controlled lake...otherwise it would be swamp you are looking at a liquid ice fisherman's paradise ..you can see dozen of shanties once there is ice and cars drive it people get lotsa sunfish and Onalaska has SunFish Days with a parade
