Hi,
Someone asked for the link to ScottA's website (the one with the free dinosaurs), and I don't have the updated link. Can anybody help us?
Thanks in advance,
Charles

Pixelatious Creations is no more. ScottA granted blanket permission for all of us to redistribute his files, so if you're looking for something specific, just ask.

I have the following, myself:

Cow
Saddle
Daisy the infant Chasmosaur
Apatasaurus
Iguanadon
Ankylosaurus
Triceratops
Pteranadon
Guitar
PosaBear (Pooh)
T-Rex
Gabera
Parasaur
Puppy

You don't have his Godzilla???

melanie ( ) posted Tue, 10 June 2003 at 7:28 PM

I wanted that a while back, too, but someone thought maybe he's taken it down. The old link I have doesn't work anymore. Melanie

melanie ( ) posted Tue, 10 June 2003 at 7:30 PM

Oops, sorry Little Dragon, I didn't realize you just said that it was gone. I guess I need to polish my eyeballs better. LOL Melanie

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Tue, 10 June 2003 at 7:50 PM

Yes, I have his Godzillas, but the files are too large for me to email.

hauksdottir ( ) posted Wed, 11 June 2003 at 1:13 AM

I'm normally quiet, staid, and mature... but when I found a toy store with a whole bin of wind-up Godzillas... I wound them all up. 😊 They roared and stamped their feet and ran around quite nicely. All of them. Some roared better than others, though. Carolly

Funny, Carolly, I never pictured you as a kaiju fan. If you don't mind course humor, you might enjoy this site. No, I'm in no way involved, I just enjoy reading it and laughing off my @$$. Sincerely, Bill

Hi, shin-goji here. Glad to see someone at a real website thinks mine is the Goji's knees. I have a small wealth of Godzilla "sprites" and plan to add more if you need them. A helpful link would be appreciated, and if you need a specific figure I might be able to help. http://www.neomonsterisland.com/webpages/studio.html

Redfern ( ) posted Wed, 11 June 2003 at 3:31 PM

Hey, Shin-Goji! Not that I mind in the least, but what brings you here to Renderosity? How'd you find it? I'm trying to remember, did I specifically mention this site when I posted my MST3K/Kaiju homage? Actually, your chibi "sprites" fit quite well here since there is a whole section dealing with PhotoShop and PaintShop Pro graphics. "So come on in, take off your skin, and rattle around in your bones!" Sincerely, Bill

shin-goji ( ) posted Wed, 11 June 2003 at 3:34 PM

I found this place when I looked at my referral stats in my web counter and saw a significant amount came from here. I still need to upload your fan comic when I can bloody make time for it. I just need to pick out the best quote and apply it to the pic.

Redfern ( ) posted Wed, 11 June 2003 at 3:54 PM

Ah, well, I'm glad I could direct some new readers your way. I just hope I don't get expelled from Renderosity for it! ;-) Just kidding! The zaniness here can get just as brash. You might submit a few of your strips under the photography section and either the comics or humor category. You can then have a permanent link to "twisted Kaiju Theater." Some of the most beloved images right now involve the DAZ Millennium Dragon placed in humorous situations (as rendered by BigT). Your material would fit right in! Sincerely, Bill

Didn't Scott say we can share whatever we have? If so I know I have his items somewhere on a disk, can't remember which ones but if I find I can make a list and put up on my web site for a brief downloading time. I say brief cause I don't know how much baud it would pull. But if enough people are interested I think it is the least I can do for someone who has given so much to the community. I think he would like to see his stuff is still in demand. Besides, he let me use his music on my web site, I owe him one. :-) Just let me know if enough are interested and if so just give me a bit of time to set it up. I move slow right now. I do know I have godzilla but not sure which one but there are a bunch of others to. Will look for them if I can't sleep and write up a list to this thread. Need opinions on doing this from all of you ok?

Jlbrown907 ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 12:15 PM

I would love to access to the dinos. I have thinking about a prehistoric scene for some time now.

Gareee ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 2:03 PM

I would LOVE to get the godzillas, and any other dinos available, and I tried emailing him after reading this original thread a few weeks ago. No reply, and no dinos.. and no GODZILLA! I can host some files on my website, if someone here can provide them for me...

shin-goji ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 2:46 PM

Do you need the chibi [small] Godzillas or some of the larger 8" variety?

Redfern ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 3:08 PM

Yo, Shin, I think Gareee means the 2 variant digital wireframe models that ScottA built, as opposed to the vinyl collectables, not that your collection is anything but amazing. One is what he calls his "70s Godzilla" (the one I used) and the other is his so-called "90s Godzilla." Personally, I like the spines of his 70s model. He has more of them trailing down the tail. I'll send you a comparison shot of the two later this evening. Sincerely, Bill

shin-goji ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 3:12 PM

Ok, cool. I have a blast taking pictures of landscapes and superimposing kaiju toys as seemlessly as possible.

Redfern ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 3:19 PM

Of course, I should let Gareee personally answer. I could be totally wrong about he (or she) wants. It may very well be the vinyl figures he (or she) is wanting. I shouldn't be so sure of myself. Sorry. :-( Sincerely, Bill

LilWolff ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 4:07 PM

Found a whole mess of them on a CD. Including two Godzilla's '70's and G95. I knew I loved Scott's work and would be sure to keep when I changed computers so I could put on this new one. Will put up picture in little bit. Gareee if you could also host a few for awhile we could leave up longer for people to get by sharing the baud usage. Will put picture and size so you can pick which ones you could may do. I know some people have limited email capacity and it would be easier for them to get a zip. I think I can share what I saved in the same spirit that Scott shared these with all of us. :-)

LilWolff ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 6:22 PM

file_62231.jpg

The ones I found on CD. I would rather put up cause sometimes I get very behind in my mail and would not want anyone to get mad at me for not sending. If someone else can host please pick number, put it here and then send me an email with the number and how you can receive it. Through email or if I have to put up in a zip for you. Cut off will be Saturday so I can get up over weekend what I have to. Place URL in this thread so we have Scott's stuff all in one location. I could not get in touch with him, but know he already said his stuff can be shared.

Little Dragon could I have Scott's Puppy & Pooh Bear? I remember them put I can't find on CD. Thank you! :-)

melanie ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 7:26 PM

It would be great if they were all together in one place! I know I missed a few. Melanie

Gareee ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 10:36 PM

Hey lilwolff.. do you have a cd burner? I still have 100 meg available on my webpage, and I'm pretty sure I can get them all up there. Only thing is, I am in the middle of having a new house setup. We'll still be here, and have this connect for a few weeks, but I don't know how my free time will be. You can email me any of the ones in your pic, but I;d prefer 2,4,6,12,10,8 in that order. I know I can upload them my webpage easily, and I think a link to a file from here would work without a problem (fortunecities) couldn't you just attach the files one by one here? (use the browse buttone below you message posting..)

Garee if you can do those, I can do the others. Will Send to you in email one at a time. If you can take those 6 I can do the other 6 and we will have it covered. :-)

Gareee ( ) posted Thu, 12 June 2003 at 10:52 PM

Here's a test file... see if we can grab this.. it's just a zip with a redo graphic for a model decal set.. http://www.fortunecity.com/tattooine/ellison/86/chariot.zip

yep, at least it worked here... BTW LW, I have a cable connect for email... or maybe you could post them in alt.binaries.poser, and I could grab them there? The more people that get them, the better chance they will always be somewhere...

No problem sending I have dsl. I was just going to put up an html link that will contain a picture mapping so they could see them and then just click and get the ones they wanted. Do you want me to make one for you and then you can replace the coding with your zip info? :-)

I don't get much free time to check this place much these days. My job is eating up every waking moment.

Interesting to see my stuff is still wanted.
I like the image you posted LilWolff. You've got my old Iguanadon which was pretty bad. I used bad reference pics to make it and it's basically all wrong.

You're missing these ones.

ScottA

LilWolff ( ) posted Fri, 13 June 2003 at 6:38 PM

Scott!! :-) Aol address does not work? If you please send to me at lilwolff@lilwolff.com I will put those up and take down old Iguanadon and redo picture map to include these too. No problem! :-) Of course your stuff is still wanted! Tried to contact you to let you know about the hosting till you get back on net. Is easier this way for me than sending in email to people. I will keep up for as long as I can. So hope is alright? Gareee is hosting the other half so we can share the baud. Is sure nice to see you! :-) Well sort of see you... grins

LilWolff ( ) posted Fri, 13 June 2003 at 10:44 PM

kayjay was putting up the new ones Scott sent to me and did not want anyone to get the old one since he told me he did not like that one and new one was better one. It is a turtle cycle for me right now, am working slow, but I get there. ;-) Is up now and sorry for the inconvience. Ya' all come back now you here. ;-) I just love his dino's and even better he is a super nice guy! Well keep up for as long as possible but if any trouble will have to go to email request and you will all just have to understand that sometimes I can be missing for a day, a week or more but eventually I do get back to people. I hope this works though. How you doing Gareee? You want that map I offered?

kayjay97 ( ) posted Sat, 14 June 2003 at 2:21 AM

Thank you LilWolff :) Got em all but Godzilla. Link doesn't work. Thank you so much for making sure we all have a chance to get these!

Thanks for letting me know, you are good checker. :-) Should be ok now, I left out the " ' " in Godzilla70's. Any other problems don't hesitate to tell me. You are welcome Kay. :-)

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sat, 14 June 2003 at 4:28 AM

It could be worse, ScottA. You could have based your old iguanodon on the original reconstruction. Y'know, the one where they thought it was a quadruped, and the thumb spikes were on the nose ....

That picture looks more like an old Toho monster than a dinosaur LD. :-) Since I'm here talking about my models. Here's a computer model I made for my company. I'm the plant manager for a contract packaging company. And this is what's known as a circle packer machine. We didn't have any manuals or set up guides for it (like all our machines). So I'm in the process of writing manuals and set up instructions on how to run various types of jobs on them. 3D modeling is really handy and useful in the manufacturing sector. Most people think CAD is the greatest. But when I showed the owner an animation of his machine on the computer. He almost fainted. :-) On the subject of Dinos. If anyone can point me to a place with pictures of Gastornis (Ancient flightless Bird). I'd apprieciate it. Walking with prehistoric creatures has some pics. But I need more than what they have there. Thanks. -ScottA
