Hi, as said earlier before I used an online photo print service as service to print some Bryce "photos". :) I mailed them my renderings instead of my digital images from my digital camera, and they printed them as photos on 20cm*30cm paper. Well, it looks great! :) I will put a frame around it and put it on the wall, and I will definately order some more of them as gifts for my friends. MadDog Germany's money is the same as the rest of Europe it's called the Euro. Only problem is that in the UK our parliment is too scared to go all the way in joining Europe and we're still stuck with the old Brittish pound. Personally I want the euro. Catlin

Stick with the Brittish pounds. They look better and as far as I know the Brittish pound has far less inflation then the Euro. The euro used to be about the same value as the Dollar when it came out, now one American Dollar is 0.80 euro's. The exact value changes a lot, but overall the euro has an inflation-problem.

Plus with the euro comes higher prices. Everything has become more expansive since the euro arrived. And the UK already isn't a very cheap country.

Rayraz, unfortunately we fight against deflation now in germany, not inflation. But I agree - I wish I could have my old Deutsche Mark back, and it would be a pity if the British pound would be gone, too. For price comparison - yeah, that's cool, but that's not enough for me to like the Euro. Most people I know want their old money back. It's difficult to get used to it, and I'm still changing Euro prices into D-Mark in my head when I go shopping. Greets, Jimi

I thought the problem was inflation. They wanted to lower the interest as far as I know. Usually that's done because of too high inflation. I could be completely wrong though. Economics aren't my strongest point. I have managed to switch to euro's in my head, so I don't calculate back to guldens anymore. (the old dutch money) However that does result in spending more money. For instance I'm now seriously thingking of spending 800 euro's on a big new TFT monitor, while before the euro I would have said 'no way, that's double my budget'.

Deflation is more dangerous than inflation, because prices are falling and people still doesn't buy because they want to wait some time till it get's even more cheaper... -- Yeah, the double effect... 1 Euro is about 2 D-Marks. And sometimes I think... "gee, that camera only costs 500,- - nice!"... and then I calculate in D-Mark and say "gosh, 1000,- Mark? That's too expensive for me!" Euros can make

I think this is why we still have the pound because it would make it very clear to everyone in the UK how much more we are paying for everything when compaired to buying the same things in continental Europe. I have friends and family all over Europe and when I go visit I realise how much more expensive living in the UK is. Catlin

100% agree. I love making holidays in London, but life is expensive there. Nevertheless, a pint of the great Guiness let me forgot it. ;-) J.

Sorry I got to disagree I really dislike being in London, it's too big, too smelly and too overpopulated. It's also too flat but that's because I come from the mountains of Scotland. Catlin

I like big and overpopulated :) Here in the netherlands the land is so flat a little bump of hardly more then 100 meters high is aready called a mountain. I didn't notice the smellyness. The city was much cleaner then the city's here in the Netherlands. Some very nice buildings, nice musea and the subway actually works.

You should pay a visit to Scotland Rayraz, we not only have beautiful buildings in our cities but we have loads of mountains and I mean real mountains over 1000 metres. Catlin

I'd love to visit Schotland. I've seen some photo's of Schotland and I also love the great landscapes in Monarch of the Glen (one of my favourite TV-shows).
