Michelle submitted a post yesterday in regards to 'rosity's new look. I basically raced in and viewed the new logo and the the dark greyish colored border. It was then brought to my attention that the background was going to be white for the galleries. Naturally, I had to go back and observe the planned changes a little more carefully.

I'm in agreement with many users that a white/light background is not appealing. For one, it would be very strenuous on most people's eyes while they meandered through the galleries. Two, most people can focus on detail a lot better with a dark background, which means better results for most of our photos.

Most of you may already be aware of the planned changes and don't care either way what the results are. For those of who who didn't know, maybe you will consider voicing your opinion. If enough users express themselves then maybe admin will reconsider their planned changes.

I have posted a sample of what I think woould be a pleasing color scheme. Yes, I tried to slip in as much purple as I could ;D

Alot of people have spoken up but I also encourage anyone who hasn't to do so! This is after all your site and if you don't speak up they can't hear you or now what you think! The color change hasn't been finalized and they have listened to what has been said. They are working on it, this is a fact.... and they are looking and working on trying to incorporate a darker color scheme because of the feedback from the members...
