Who is/are Vista?
Vista Internet Products, I assume. Lyne Masamitsu and Debra Ross sell a number of animal figures there, but no rhinos.
Imagination Works has a rhino. About the same price as DAZ, although I can't vouch for quality.
Wyrwulf: thanks. I hadn't even thought to look at DAZ...
Little Dragon: thanks for the tip about Imagination Works. Looks pretty cool, but I think the DAZ one is probably a little closer to the one I had in mind. Thanks too for info about Vista - their stuff looks great!
Looks like I'm going to be spending some money again (sigh) ;-) -Mike

Oh, I wouldn't, really. It's just that if it is a copyright violation it's rather an absurd one, since it would be protection of a model that's the result of steps taken in a tutorial, where the information that is really the subject at hand is the tut, not the result. Sort of like if you were legally prevented from selling a dress you made from a Simplicity or McCall's pattern. Or like signing a non-disclosure/non-comp agreement before taking a college class, so you can learn but you can't use what you learned.

Yes, you read that right. Just the head. I'm trying to recreate a hallway in the museum where I used to work. Whenever I walked down a certain corridor and turned a certain corner, even though I knew it was there, I'd invariably be startled by a giant rhino head mounted over an arch. It was on one of the floors where "tourists" weren't allowed to go...probably a legacy of the museum's unsavory past that it would rather forget. That or something put there deliberately to mess with young interns like me!
Yes, I am an odd one, but I didn't put it there in the first place!
Many thanks in advance, as always. -Mike
