Can anyone tell me if Poser supports faceted objects? The cube prop appears to be faceted, but every object I import is made smooth, apparently by default. Is there a gadget for this, or will I have to edit the object's text file? thanx...

You could avoid the smoothing by converting your prop to DXF with your modeling program or 3DWin. Then import the DXF into poser. It will only be a prop though, not poseable. Serpent

If you import an object with "weld vertices" off it will not smooth. But again this applies to the whole import. Import with welding on (smooths everything) Or welding off (facets everything). A 3DMF import comes in with the smooth parts smooth and the facets faceted. So maybe DFX has the same result as stated above. James
