I'm having troubles downloading Python and BVH scripts from the internet, when i'm trying to download some of those files my browser (IE 5.5) downloads them in .TXT format when it's supposed to download them in *.py and *.bvh respectivly. How can i get those files in their own file formats? Thanks guys Paoli J

I've had the same problem with .bvh files from some sites. There are a couple of techniques that might help with this. When Explorer's download dialog box pops up, don't allow the file to save as .txt. Instead, use the lower drop-down box to select "all files," and add the .bvh extension yourself to the filename before initiating the download. Another way would be to go ahead and download as a text file, then change the extension in Windows Explorer. Both techniques have worked for me in the past, and in some cases, both failed. I don't understand why, but wish you luck with this, 'cause .bvh files are FUN!

Sure they are my friend!!, thanks xoconostle you know the first technique works just fine, i've tried with the second one so many times and it never worked for me. Now i'm off to play with my .bvh files hehe ;) Thanks again Cheers

Yeah....particularly when you have to do a frame by frame hunt to find the 1 trans or rot value that is causing your mesh to spline itself into a cheap ad for 'Boxing Helena'...... :P
