The Phoenixes want you to think there's only one - makes it easy to establish an alibi when one of the criminal birdbrains is carrying out part of the masterplan (and as for that stuff about being reborn in fire - "Hey, nice place you have here! See, I'm a bit down at the moment, money worries ya know, maybe it's time for the new model - egg, fire, hatchling, know what I mean - helps get yer mind off of things, now that rug - Persian? - that would feel real nice flickering away and the oils in those pic-chers, bet that would smell real sweet, and - oh, what? for me? Awww, ain't that great - makes me want to go on living - for a while - yeah...."
This phoenix is part of the long lost tribe of forest phoenixes in the yucca flats of Arizona....there are actually thousands of them out there, but being very fast, have eluded being caught on camera for all this time....but, by virtue of the new Kodak DC2003 stealth lens, I can zoom from miles away and capture the little rascals without them knowing. If you notice, they are eating those battle slugs, which changes the feather colors...green + purple=yellow..or orange, depending on light.... These guys are also hermaphrodites, special species to promote their longevity...they are also known as being very good pets...and as a bonus, do not carry monkeypox.
